IronStar Peer Support & Resiliency was built to close the gap between first responder culture and the support systems meant to serve it.
Created by an RN/paramedic and a trauma specialist who have spent years working inside first responder communities, IronStar exists because traditional approaches often miss the realities of the job. Long shifts, cumulative exposure, moral injury, staffing strain, and leadership pressure don’t respond to generic solutions.
We believe meaningful change happens from the inside out — through peer leadership, practical education, and systems that are willing to examine how the work is actually carried.
IronStar partners with agencies to strengthen the structures crews rely on every day, reduce preventable stress injury, and support the long-term stability of the profession.

IronStar was created by people who understand the realities of the job firsthand. We exist to help agencies address the cumulative load of service and strengthen the systems crews depend on every day.

Real change doesn’t happen through awareness alone. It starts when agencies have practical tools, shared language, and leadership willing to address the realities of the job.
